CUTTING EMISSIONS IN OUR OWN OPERATIONS
Our crafting facilities in Thailand have been covered by 100% renewable electricity since 2020 through a combination of on‑site solar generation, renewable electricity certificates (EKOenergy), and Direct Power Purchase Agreement for our Lamphun facility introduced in 2024. We continue to explore sourcing methods as the market for renewable electricity matures.
WORKING WITH SUPPLIERS TO REDUCE VALUE CHAIN EMISSIONS
Most of Pandora’s emissions come from our value chain, so achieving our net zero ambitions requires strong collaboration with suppliers, partners and other stakeholders.
We are engaging stakeholders through, for example, decarbonisation capability building, renewable electricity adoption, capability building and clear expectations linked to our strategic climate goals.
Our approach focuses on:
- Transitioning partners and suppliers to renewable electricity
- Reducing emissions in material production and processing
- Improving logistics efficiency
- Accelerating innovation across manufacturing steps.
By strengthening these efforts, we can deliver meaningful and measurable reductions across our entire footprint.
OUR PATH TO NET ZERO BY 2040
Pandora has committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions across its entire value chain by 2040 — a goal aligned with climate science and approved by the SBTi.
